Operating Hours & Seasons

The park is closed Monday through Thursday. Open Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Hours of operations will vary based on the season. See seasonal information below.

Visitors planning trips later in the spring or early summer 2026 should be aware that the park is still planning on only being open Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
Park staff will reassess operating schedules as construction progresses and will update the public as soon as a determination is made regarding a return to seven-day operations or any adjustment to hours.

WINTER HOURS: October 1 to June 1
The park is open Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The park will be closed Monday through Thursday. There will be no visitor access to any part of the park during closure.

Open & Closing Hours:
Entrance Gate 8 am - 4 pm.
Visitor Center/ Book Store: 8 am - 4 pm.
Custer National Cemetery: 8 am - 4 pm.

Last Stand Hill & Indian Memorial: 8 am - 3:30 pm.
4.5 mile driving tour road: 8 am - 3:30 pm.
Reno-Benteen Entrenchment: 8 am - 3:30 pm.
Deep Ravine Trail: 8 am to 3:30 pm.
