The Pine City Zone is a small zone southeast of Queen Mountain. The zone includes open valleys, rugged mountains, and sandy washes cutting through rocky canyons. Elevations range from 4,000 to 4,800 feet. There are a limited number of permits available for this zone due to the popularity of the pine city area and its limited number of campsites. Camping is not allowed near any mining or historical sites.

Trails: Pine City (1.5 miles one-way)

Bordering Zones: Twin Tanks and Lost Horse. North of the Pine City Zone is the Wonderland of Rocks, a day-use area where overnight camping is not allowed.

Closest Backcountry Trailheads to Enter/Exit: Pine City (4,440')
