Homestead National Historical Park has been educating Americans about the Homestead Act of 1862 since the park was first signed into law in 1936 by President Franklin D. Roosevelt. One of Homestead's principle events in this regard is Homestead Days. Since 1979, every year in June, Homestead National Historical Park aims to bring the homesteading legacy to life during this multi-day annual event. Homestead Days offers opportunities to learn our history, celebrate our roots, socialize, listen to music, enjoy performances, and maybe even mingle with some famous folks. Below you will find photos from prior years, upcoming dates and agendas (when they become available), and links out to prior year agendas. Enjoy!
