At Hopewell Culture National Historical Park, we employ several researchers who are charged with the preservation of the commemorative, educational, scientific, and traditional cultural values of archeological resources for the benefit and enjoyment of present and future generations. Their work is an invaluable part of park operations and enhances the resources of the park when information from their study is used as a source for accurate and accessible public interpretation. Here, you’ll find some of that research which has helped us discover more about an ancient and mysterious prehistoric American Indian culture that continues to fascinate and inspire us all.
