Harpers Ferry National Historical Park is open year round with the exception of Thanksgiving Day, December 25, and January 1. Park passes may be purchased at the fee collection entrance station daily (171 Shoreline Drive, Harpers Ferry, WV 25425) or you can purchase a pass online.
The park's operating hours are as follows:
Park museums/exhibits and restrooms in the historic Lower Town are open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Shuttle buses run every day the park is open, every 10-15 minutes.
Pets are not permitted on the park shuttle buses. Service animals are permitted on park shuttles while functioning in their work capacity. For more information, please visit our Pets page.
Shuttle bus hours:
During Daylight Saving Time (March 11, 2024 - November 3, 2024): Start at 9 a.m.; last bus runs at 7 p.m.
During Eastern Standard Time (November 4, 2024 - March 9, 2025): Start at 9 a.m.; last bus runs at 5:30 p.m.
