MCLEAN, Va.— The George Washington Memorial Parkway North, from I-495 to Spout Run Parkway, will only have one travel lane open in each direction due to weather conditions. The reversible lane will be suspended during AM and PM rush hour on Friday, August 9 between I-495 and Windy Run Bridge. Please expect travel delays and plan to use alternate routes. NPS will continue to monitor weather conditions along the parkway during the tropical storm. Crews anticipate opening the reversible lane for morning rush hour on Monday, August 12. A follow-up notice will be distributed via email and on our website. Thank you in advance for your patience.
