Explore Nature and History

Great Falls Park has many opportunities for students to discover nature and our nation's history.

Students may learn about geology in Mather Gorge, discover animal habitats along the Potomac River, and learn about history in the ruins of the Patowmack Canal.  With 800 acres to explore, a trip to the park will give students many opportunities to connect with the natural world.

Please contact the park at 703-757-3101 for more information on educational opportunities.
