Located inside the park at the end of the main entrance road this Visitor Center is where all cave tour leave from and where most programs are offered. Services located at this Visitor Center include; a staffed information desk, park movie, exhibit hall, cave tour check in, Western National Parks Association Park store, and Great Basin Cafe. Restrooms and a water spigot are open year round and at night.

At this visitor center there are cave and night sky exhibits. With darkness being a very important resource at Great Basin National Park, the exhibits at this visitor center explore the different types of darkness found on the park. Learn about how to protect night skies and what stars will be up each night. Venture through a model cave with cave formations and hidden secrets under each rock. These exhibits are a great place for kids to learn more about Great Basin.

Located outside the park north of Baker, NV this Visitor Center offers many visitors thier first taste of the Great Basin. Services located at this Visitor Center include; a staffed information desk, park movie, exhibit hall, Western National Parks Association Park store and water spigot. Restrooms open year round and at night.

At this visitor center there are exhibits describing the Great Basin and treasures found within. The Great Basin is filled with varying landscapes and life zones. From high mountains to low valleys the Great Basin offers many differnt habitats to find wildlife and different flora, explore these life zones at the life zone exhibit. High up in the mountains the great basin bristlecone pine tree makes its home, not everyone has the time to hike up to the grove, at the visitor center there is a model tree and a piece of the 4,862 year old Prometheus tree. The bristlecone are not the only piece of history in the great basin, there is a rich history of people living in the Great Basin that includes the Forgotten Winchester rifle. These exhibits are a great place for kids to learn more about Great Basin and what lives in the area.
