Great Basin National Park does not have an entrance fee.

However, we do sell America the Beautiful - National Parks & Federal Recreational Lands Passes at Lehman Caves Visitor Center.

Annual Pass - Cost $80.00

This pass is available to the general public and is valid for one year, beginning from the date of sale. The pass provides access to and use of federal recreation sites that charge an entrance or standard amenity fee. In per person fee areas, the pass will admit the passholder and up to three adults. (Children ages 15 and under are admitted free.) In per vehicle fee areas, the pass will admit the passholder and passengers in non-commercial vehicle. The pass does not cover expanded amenity fees, such as camping or cave tours.

You can obtain this pass in person at Lehman Caves Visitor Center or buy it online.

If you are a volunteer at a federal agency that participates in the Interagency Pass Program, you may be eligible for a Volunteer Annual Pass.

Lifetime Senior Pass - Yellowstone National Park/Lori Wilkinson

Senior Pass - Lifetime: $80.00, Annual: $20.00

Both the lifetime and senior passes are for U.S. citizens or permanent residents, 62-years-old or older. The passes provide access to and use of federal recreation sites that charge an entrance or standard amenity fee. In per person fee areas, the pass will admit the passholder and up to three adults. (Children ages 15 and under are admitted free.) In per vehicle fee areas, the pass will admit the passholder and passengers in non-commercial vehicle. In the case of expanded amenity fees, such as camping and cave tours, the pass holder (and only the pass holder) will receive a 50% discount. The pass is non-transferable and generally does NOT cover or reduce special recreation permit fees or fees charged by concessionaires.

Note: All National Parks Passes, Golden Eagle, Golden Eagle Hologram, Golden Access and Golden Age Passports will still be honored according to the provisions of the pass. Only paper Golden Age and Access Passports may be exchanged free of charge for new plastic passes.

Every Kid Outdoors Pass

Every Kid Outdoors 4th Grade Pass - Free

This pass is available to U.S. fourth graders, including home-schooled and free-choice learners who are 10 years old. This pass is valid for the duration of the fourth grade school year and through the following summer (September- August). The pass provides access to, and use of, federal recreation sites that charge an entrance or standard amenity fee. In per person fee areas, the pass will admit the passholder and up to four adults. (Children under 16 are admitted free.) In per vehicle fee areas, the pass will admit the passholder and passengers in non-commercial vehicle. The pass does not cover camping fees or other use fees, such as cave tours.

Fourth graders that wish to receive a pass must have a paper voucher printed from the Every Kid Outdoors website. Digital versions of the voucher (such as .pdfs on smartphones or tablets) will not be accepted.

Access Pass - Free

This is a lifetime pass for U.S. citizens or permanent residents with permanent disabilities. The pass provides access to, and use of, federal recreation sites that charge an entrance or standard amenity fee. In per person fee areas, the pass will admit the passholder and up to three adults. (Children under 16 are admitted free.) In per vehicle fee areas, the pass will admit the passholder and passengers in non-commercial vehicle. In the case of expanded amenity fees, such as camping and cave tours, the pass holder (and only the pass holder) will receive a 50% discount.

Applicants will be asked to sign a Statement of Disability.

Military Passes - Free

Two types of Military pass are currently given.

  1. Annual Pass for Active Duty Military and dependents
  2. Lifetime Pass for Veterans & Gold Star family members

The passes provide access to, and use of, federal recreation sites that charge an entrance or standard amenity fee. In per person fee areas, the pass will admit the passholder and up to three adults. (Children ages 15 and under are admitted free.) In per vehicle fee areas, the pass will admit the passholder and passengers in non-commercial vehicle. These passes do not cover expanded amenity fees, such as camping or cave tours.

Applicants must present current military I.D., proof of veteran status, or a Gold Star Voucher at the time of issuance in order to receive a pass. Obtain a Gold Star Voucher and learn about the new program granting free access to U.S. military veterans and Gold Star Families through a Military Pass here.
