More Than a Bookstore!

The park visitor centers and stores are operated by the Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy (Parks Conservancy), a nonprofit and the primary programmatic partner of the National Park Service. The Parks Conservancy is dedicated to preserving the Golden Gate National Recreation Area (GGNRA), enhancing the park visitor experience, and building a community dedicated to conserving the parks for the future. At the visitor centers and stores, welcoming and informed Parks Conservancy staff help you navigate the park, learn about its history, trails, and events, and find out transit information and area highlights. Shop - Your Purchase Benefits the Park

The Parks Conservancy operates stores on Alcatraz, at Muir Woods National Monument, the Presidio, Lands End and Sutro Baths, the Golden Gate Bridge, the Warming Hut on Crissy Field, and Fort Point National Historic Site. The park stores offer a wide range of educational and commemorative merchandise, including books and brochures, historic reproductions, kids’ toys and games, prints, and more. When you purchase items from our park visitor centers and online store, proceeds are donated to support educational, scientific, historical and visitor amenity projects across the Golden Gate National Recreation Area.
