No entrance pass required

An entrance pass is not required to access Glen Echo Park.

Other National Park Service sites may require an entrance pass or fee. Depending on your trip plans, an interagency pass may save you money.

2024 Free Entrance Days in the National Parks

Come experience the national parks! All National Park Service sites that charge an entrance fee will offer free admission to everyone (other fees, including timed entry or reservation fees, may apply). Mark your calendar for these entrance fee-free dates:

 

Admission to the grounds of Glen Echo Park and
on-site parking is free.

Use of the park's playground and picnic area
(for groups of 40 or less) is on a first-come, first-served basis.

Rooms, pavilions, and buildings may be rented for private events. Please call the Glen Echo Park Partnership for Arts and
Culture, Inc. at 301-634-2233 to find out about availability, terms, and prices.

Many activities that are available at the park do have admission fees.

Ranger-Led Tours - Free

Carousel Rides - Tickets are $5 per person for all day on weekdays and $5 per person for a 4-hour time slot on weekends and holidays. To purchase tickets visit www.glenechopark.org/carousel

RESERVATIONS

Guided Tour - Led by a Park Ranger or Park Volunteer. Call 301-320-1400 in advance for your group, students or family. Learn about the
history of the Park, Carousel, Spanish Ballroom, Crystal Pool and the Civil Rights Story at Glen Echo Park.

Movies/Films - Are shown in the Visitor Center. Call 301-320-1400 in advance for your group, students or family for reservations or
stop in the Ranger Station.
