NPS Guided horseback rides are available inside the park at Many Glacier, Lake McDonald, and Apgar. Swan Mountain Outfitters offers drop camp services, packing visitor's gear into certain backcountry campgrounds using stock. This can be an enjoyable alternative to backpacking.
