Park Store

The bookstore is located in the visitor center and is open during park hours. Books and educational products related to Frederick Douglass, African-American history, slavery, emancipation, the Underground Railroad, and more, are available for purchase.

The bookstore is managed by America's National Parks, a cooperating association of the National Park Service. Some merchandise can be purchased through its online store eParks.

Passport to Your National Parks®

Cancellation stamps for the Passport to Your National Parks® program are available in the visitor center. A stamping station at the front desk features the following cancellation stamps:
  • Frederick Douglass Bicentennial / 1818 - 2018 / Frederick Douglass NHS
  • Frederick Douglass NHS / Washington, DC
  • Underground Railroad Freedom Network / Frederick Douglass NHS
