The National Park Service is working service-wide with federal, state, and local public health authorities to closely monitor the COVID-19 pandemic. Based on guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and state and local public health authorities, access to the park is as follows:
Outdoor Areas at Fort Matanzas Now Available
· Fort Matanzas Visitor Center outdoor areas are open daily from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
· Nature trails, fishing access, picnic area and basic visitor information services are available.
· Public restrooms are open.
. Ferry Service to Fort Matanzas is operating Wednesday-Sunday only. The ferry will be closed on Monday & Tuesday.
While the listed areas are accessible for visitors to enjoy, some services may be limited.
Consistent with CDC recommendations, people who are not fully vaccinated must continue to wear masks indoors and in crowded outdoor spaces.
