Saxton House Tours

Entering the Saxton Home takes you back in time to the 19th century.

Allow a knowledgeable guide to take you through the former home of Ida and William McKinley. Through this tour, you'll not only learn the story of this former first lady, but also understand the difficult public position put upon many of our nation's first ladies.

Please begin your visit at the visitor center at 205 Market Avenue South. Guided tours leave from the visitor center at 10:00 am, 12:00 noon, and 2:00 pm. Tours have a capacity of 15 people per tour. Tickets are on a first come first serve basis.

NOTE: The tours do require standing for long periods and moving from room to room, chairs are available throughout the home. The Saxton House is accessible for wheelchairs, and are available at the site. Assisted listening and hearing loop devices are also available.

Adults: $7
Seniors: $6
Children under age 18: $5
America the Beautiful Passholders: $4
Every Kid Outdoors, Military, and Access Passholders along with children under the age of 2 are all admitted free.

Group tours for 30 people or less are available on an extremely limited basis. e-mail us for available times.
