First Ladies National Historic Site in Canton, Ohio will have evening hours on Fridays until 8:00 pm from July 5th through August 9th, 2024. The visitor center is open and free of charge. The visitor center consists of three different museum exhibits, as well as a historic theater with a documentary film.
Guided tours of the Saxton House will be available on Fridays at 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm in addition to the regularly scheduled 10:00 am, 12:00 noon, and 2:00 pm tours. Tours have a capacity of 15 people per tour and begin at the visitor center. Tickets are available on a first come, first served basis.
First Ladies National Historic Site was established in 2000 to interpret the role of the First Lady through a collaboration with the non-profit partner, National First Ladies Library and Museum.
