What did it take for immigrants to journey to the United States?

Step back in time to the early 1900s. In this 30-minute immersive role-playing experience designed for Grades 3–6, students take on the identity of newly arrived immigrants and navigate the historic inspection process guided by National Park Service staff.

Ellis Island’s immersive education program, The Journey, returns this fall from October 7 to December 17.
