The National Park Service is committed to making park facilities, programs, services, employment, and meaningful work opportunities accessible and usable by all individuals. Eisenhower National Historic Site is a working Angus farm in a rural small community, the centerpiece of the park being the 1955 Eisenhower home. Accessible parking is located on the farm in the paved area by the large bank barn. Follow the accessible parking directional signs when entering the site from Emmitsburg Road and park in the designated spots. The areas around the Eisenhower home are paved and generally accessible to people who use a wheelchair. Accessible restrooms, located in the lower level of the Eisenhower bank barn, are open Friday to Sunday, 9 am to 5 pm. |
