Saturday, April 4, 2026
The third annual Eisenhower National Historic Site Easter Egg Roll will take place on April 4, 2026. The event will take place from 10 am to 2 pm.
In 1953--after a hiatus during World War II--Dwight and Mamie Eisenhower brought the beloved Easter Egg Roll tradition back to the South Lawn of the White House.
To commemorate the original Eisenhower Easter Egg Roll, this event encourages young visitors and families to engage in fun-filled activities and learn about Eisenhower family Easter traditions at the White House.
Kids will have the opportunity to decorate their own wooden egg and take part in an egg roll on the lawn of the Eisenhower home here in Gettysburg. Tours of the Eisenhower home will take place, with the last entry to the house at 2 pm.
Staff from the Adams County Library will lead special storytime sessions for children at the Eisenhower Teahouse at 10:30 am, 11:30 am, 12:30 pm, and 1:30 pm.
