Each year, Eisenhower NHS hosts special programs, events, and living history to commemorate the anniversary of the D-Day invasion of Nazi-occupied France on June 6, 1944.

For the 80th anniversary in 2024, Eisenhower NHS hosted four days of house tours, living history, and ranger programs. The event was highlighted with a special naturalization ceremony welcoming 17 new citizens to the United States on June 6, 2024.

On June 6, 2024, Eisenhower NHS held a naturalization ceremony to commemorate the 80th anniversary of D-Day. Lt. Gen. Christopher Burne, USAF (ret.) was the keynote speaker. Superintendent Kristina Heister and Gettysburg Foundation interim President David Malgee also spoke. 17 new citizens were welcomed to the United States.
