NPS Photo Edison National Historic Site will celebrate National Park Week on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, April 25, 26, and 27, 2008 at Thomas Edison’s home, Glenmont in Llewellyn Park. Movies, exhibits and activities begin at 12:00pm and continue until 4:00pm. We will offer special Junior Ranger activity each day for families to Explore, Learn, and Protect their national parks. National Park Week is an annual Presidentially proclaimed week for celebration and recognition of Your National Parks. Your National Parks are living examples of the best this Nation has to offer - our magnificent natural landscapes and our varied yet interrelated heritage. |
