Dry Tortugas National Park is rich in both significant cultural and natural resources. You can enjoy dramatic landscapes and the history of Fort Jefferson, or explore our beautiful reefs, marine life and shipwrecks. There are many areas to explore this park -- both above and below the water!

 

Places at Dry Tortugas & Key West

  • A brick fort surrounded by sand and water
    Garden Key

    Garden Key is the second largest island of the Dry Tortugas, and home to historic Fort Jefferson.

  • A lighthouse and cottage surrounded by palm trees
    Loggerhead Key

    The largest of the 7 islands in Dry Tortugas National Park is Loggerhead Key, and should not be missed.

  • An island with shrubbery and sand surrounded by blue ocean waters
    Bush Key

    Bush Key, adjacent to Garden Key, is a paradise for tropical bird watchers and closed seasonally for nesting season.
