Very Limited Goods and Services Available in the Park

When planning your trip to Dry Tortugas National Park, please keep in mind that there are very limited goods and services available.

Visitors are required to provide their own food, water, and all other supplies while at the park. You must be self-sufficient for your entire stay.

Limitations of Goods and Services

Once visitors arrive to Dry Tortugas National Park, please note that there are several goods and services that are unavailable.

• No cell phone coverage
• No public phones
• No internet or Wifi
• No bathrooms*
• No water
• No food
• No fuel for boats
• No trashcans or trash disposal
• No other basic amenities

*Composting toilets are available for campers from 3:00 PM - 10:30 AM daily. At all other times, the bathrooms and fresh water rinse (no soap allowed), aboard the Yankee Freedom Ferry can be utilized.

Goods and Services through the Ferry

Limited goods and services can be purchased through the Yankee Freedom Ferry when it arrives daily at 10:30 AM (weather permitting).

• The Garden Key bookstore at the park or online through the Florida National Parks Association's website.

• The Key West Visitors Center, located at the Florida Keys Eco-Discovery Center.
