Some jobs are office-oriented, others focus on working with the public, and some involve working outdoors. Each job performs a vital function—that of providing visitors an opportunity to enjoy a unique experience, while working hard to preserve natural and cultural resources for future generations.

National Park Service Jobs

Internships in Denali (and across the National Park Service) are offered through several programs. Eligibility varies by program—internships may be open to undergraduates, graduate students, recent graduates, and/or other young adults.

• Alaska Geographic, a non-profit partner of Denali and all other national parks in Alaska
• Denali Education Center, a non-profit partner of Denali that promotes understanding and appreciation of the park through fun, informative, and inspiring programs that build lifelong friendships, lasting memories, and a connection to nature.

Federal Youth Conservation Corps (YCC)

Unique summer employment opportunities are available to teens in Denali National Park and Preserve. This program is open to all applicants ages 15 through 18. Applicants must have parental consent to participate in the program.
