Four birds looking at the viewer.

While the rest of the world will be participating in the Great Backyard Bird Count, We invite you to the first ever Birds Watching Us Event. Stand up and be counted! from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. park rangers will lead tours to hot spots where birds might see us. It's all for fun and science. No reservation necessary. Totally free! Just drop in, and let us know you're here. The goal is to be counted by as many different bird species as possible. All sightings will be entered into eBird and park records. Our rangers can help you determine which birds have counted you. Need more information? Email our crazing birding superintendent Wallace_Keck@partner.nps.gov or call 208-824-5911.
