Environmental Factors

Environmental factors such as air quality, soil quality, insects, cave environment, water quality, wildlife and weather greatly affect the way in which the park is managed. All of these factors must be considered to ensure not only a safe visit to Carlsbad Caverns National Park, but an enjoyable one as well.
