Basic Information


The Capitol Hill Parks encompass various urban green spaces east of the US Capitol in Washington, DC. The largest of these parks include Lincoln Park, Stanton Park, Marion Park, and Folger Park.

These community-based parks provide recreation and leisure opportunities for local neighborhood residents and the general public. Basic standards of public decorum should apply. Some uses are regulated or prohibited in compliance with District of Columbia and Federal law in order to maintain public safety standards.

Large events or gatherings of more than 25 people, film/photography projects, and other specialized activities may require a permit.
