Audio Description is not currently available for exhibits at Bodie Island Lighthouse and the Hatteras Island Museum of the Sea. BrailleThere is a Braille version of the park brochure available for loan at the information desk in the Hatteras Island Museum of the Sea Bodie Island Visitor Center and Ocracoke Discovery Center. A copy of the Braille brochure in a Braille Ready Format (.brf) can be downloaded in advance of your visit. Resources for Deafness/Hardness of HearingFilmsThe Hatteras Island Museum of the Sea has three closed-captioned videos available for viewing.
Access PassThe America the Beautiful - The National Parks and Federal Recreational Lands Pass Series includes the Access Pass: a free, lifetime admission and discount pass for U.S. citizens or permanent residents with permanent disabilities. Access Passes are available online or at Wright Brothers National Memorial entrance station located 20 minutes north of Cape Hatteras National Seashore.
