Temporary Road Closures to TidepoolsDuring weekends, holidays, and good low tides, the road to the tidepools may close temporarily when parking is full. These closures last 30-45 minutes to manage traffic flow and protect the fragile ecosystem. Please plan accordingly and be patient with our staff. Park PoliciesCabrillo National Monument is a smoke-free and trash-free park. Smoking, including tobacco cigarettes, electronic cigarettes, and vaping, is prohibited. Visitors are asked to pack out all trash to help maintain the park's cleanliness. No Cell Phone Service by the TidepoolsPlease note that there is no cell phone service down by the tidepools. If using a driver for hire, arrange a pickup time and location in advance, as cell coverage is only available at the top of the park.
