Visitor Center and View BuildingThe Visitor Center at Cabrillo National Monument is the perfect place to get oriented to the park. Rangers and volunteers are always available to answer questions and provide suggestions on what to do. Here you can: Public WiFi is available.
There is free WiFi available in the Visitor Center area. There is cellular service in the upper part of the Park and along the Bayside Trail. However, there is no cellular service, or WiFi in the tidepools area.

Temporary Road Closures to TidepoolsDuring weekends, holidays, and good low tides, the road to the tidepools may close temporarily when parking is full. These closures last 30-45 minutes to manage traffic flow and protect the fragile ecosystem. Please plan accordingly and be patient with our staff. Park PoliciesCabrillo National Monument is a smoke-free and trash-free park. Smoking, including tobacco cigarettes, electronic cigarettes, and vaping, is prohibited. Visitors are asked to pack out all trash to help maintain the park's cleanliness. No Cell Phone Service by the TidepoolsPlease note that there is no cell phone service down by the tidepools. If using a driver for hire, arrange a pickup time and location in advance, as cell coverage is only available at the top of the park.
