Bushtit (Psaltriparus minimus)

Length 4.5” Wingspan 6”
Stubby bill, rounded wing, tiny round body, long tail, gray-brown, seen in swarming flock on bushes and trees eating aphids and tiny insects.

While Bushtits do not sing, they are still quite vocal and communicate with each other through very high-pitched, wispy or lisping peeps that are almost the timbre of an insect like a cicada or a cricket.
