Superintendent

The Superintendent is responsible for managing and supervising all park operations and activities, including administration at Roger Williams National Memorial, and overseeing permanent and seasonal employees of the National Park Service.

Division of Adminstration

This division acts as the “business office” and deals with activities related to administrative, managerial, planning, and support functions. Its principal functions include human resources, budget, purchasing, property management, and IT support.

Division of Cultural Resources

This division oversees park management related to historical and natural resources. The division is responsible for conducting and overseeing research on historic structures and cultural sites. This division is also responsible for Section 106 compliance.

Division of Maintenance and Facilities

The division oversees the operation and maintenance of all physical facilities in the park to ensure they are safe and in good condition. The division also manages facility construction and rehabilitation projects to support the Park's operation.

Division of Interpretation and Education

This division is responsible for providing information, educational programs, and services to park visitors and neighbors about the park’s natural and cultural resources, facilities, and policies. The division manages park publications, interpretive exhibits, public outreach, school visits, and Old Slater Mill National Historic Landmark. Interpretive rangers provide a variety of guided walks, tours, and other activities to the public.
