Updated 1/21/22

South Rim Road Ski/Snowshoe Trail

Last groomed on 1/9/2022. A double track was set to Pulpit Rock (2 miles from visitor center) with a single track continuing to High Point (6 miles from visitor center). A wide skate lane was set the entire length of the trail. Last snowfall produced 1.5" on 1/21/22. Park snow depth is approximately 15". Tracks and skate lane remain in reasonably good shape. Icy conditions possible. Conditions fast.

Oak Flat Trail

Snow covered, several inches thick, with possible packed snow and icy spots. If planning to hike in these conditions, good shoe traction will be helpful (perhaps also wearing traction devices such as ice cleats or snowshoes) and consider using poles. During slippery conditions, most people prefer to hike the Oak Flat Trail clockwise (according to the park map) so that hikers travel downhill on the longer switchbacks and uphill for the steepest section. Last snowfall produced 2" on 1/8/22. Park snow depth is approximately 15".

Rim Rock Trail

Snow covered with several inches. Good shoe traction will be helpful (perhaps also wearing traction devices such as ice cleats or snowshoes) and consider using poles. Last snowfall produced 2" on 1/8/22. Park snow depth is approximately 15".

Uplands Trail
