Time - to determine the time of high or low tide at the locations in this table, look at the “time differences” columns in which the hours and minutes to be added or subtracted from the time of high or low tide at the Miami Harbor entrance. A plus sign indicates that the tide at the location occurs later than at Miami Harbor and the difference should be added; a minus sign indicates that it is earlier and should be subtracted. Height - the height of the tide is obtained by means of the height ratios (indicated by an asterisk). To obtain the height of tide at the location, multiply the height of tide at the Miami Harbor entrance by the ratio listed.
