Network to Freedom Texas Scholars Roundtable

In June 2021, the Network to Freedom and the National Park Service’s legacy Intermountain Regional Office, in partnership with the Organization of American Historians, hosted a 3-day roundtable event that ended with a virtual public open house. The scholars discussed the history of the Underground Railroad along the southern borderland. The scholars featured were Dr. Mekala Audain, Professor Roseann Bacha-Garza, Dr. Alice Baumgartner, Dr. Jane Landers, Professor Andrew J. Torget.
