Summer Hours Begin May 15th!

Starting, Friday, May 15th the visitor center will be open daily from 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Winter hours are in effect from October 1st through May 14th. Trails are open from dawn until dusk year-round.

 

Winter Weather

Visitors are encouraged to call ahead, check the website, or check our social media pages before driving to the park on snowy days. If we receive a lot of snow, the visitor center may have a delayed open or be closed for safety. Winter storms can be quick and nasty.

When open, our maintenance staff does a fabulous job of plowing the parking lots and roads within the park. Visitors should drive slow on the roads and walk with caution along the cement paths.
