Cast iron cook off at English Camp

The Cast-iron Cook-off is one of the most popular attractions during the annual Encampment at at English Camp. The event, scheduled July 25-26, 2009, is widely promoted throughout the Pacific Northwest.

Did You Know?
American Camp's Officers' Quarters, built in 1859-1860, is the oldest structure on San Juan Island. It may have once been home to Capt. George E. Pickett of Civil War fame.
