Social Media @SanJuanIslandNHP

These paddles created by Coast Salish artisans are one of the many cultural and natural treasures that visitors to our park feel compelled to document on social media.

San Juan Island National Historical Park wants to reach visitors from near and far away. Through social media we realize that opportunity, reaching hundreds of thousands of people every year. In fact, we have almost as many virtual visitors as in person visitors!

We also aim to tell a broad array of stories and reach a wide audience. So, if you want pretty pictures, historic essays that contextualize the past, or breaking news about the park, you might want to follow us on social media. You can also message us or comment to interact with one of our park rangers on the internet.
