By Plane

The nearest airport is the Port Columbus International Airport (CMH) located 50 miles north of the park. Take 1-270 south. Exit on State Route 23 heading south. Once in Chillicothe, follow signs to the park via State Route 159/Bridge Street, US Route 35, and State Route 104.

By Car

The park's Mound City Group Visitor Center in Chillicothe, Ohio is located two miles north of the intersection of US Route 35 and State Route 104.

Did You Know?
In 1917 future President Dwight Eisenhower was stationed at Camp Sherman, a World War I training camp located on the grounds of the Mound City Group of Hopewell Culture National Historical Park.
