Entrance Passes

Standard Entrance Pass

$10.00–$20.00

Entrance Fees and Passes only at Great Falls Park.

Admits one single, private, non-commercial vehicle and all its passengers. Organized groups are not eligible for the vehicle permit. Also valid for entrance into the Chesapeake and Ohio Canal National Historical Park.

(Winter Rate - $15.00, November 1 to April 30) This is a per person entrance fee for a visitor traveling on foot, bicycle, or for individuals traveling together in a vehicle as a non-commercial, organized group. The pass is good for seven days and is non-transferable.

Admits one individual when entering by foot, bicycle, or equestrian. Individuals 15 years of age and younger are admitted free of charge. Also valid for entrance into the Chesapeake and Ohio Canal National Historical Park.

For Organizations & Businesses

Organized Non-Commercial Groups in vehicles with a capacity of 15 or less are charged the $20.00 vehicle permit. Vehicles with a capacity of 16 or more are charged a fee of $10.00 per person. Removal of seats from a vehicle does not then qualify for the lower rate. Age and pass exemptions apply. The total fee charged for an Organized Non-Commercial Group will not exceed the $100 fee per vehicle.

Entrance Fees
Great Falls Park is the only site on the George Washington Memorial Parkway with an entrance fee. If you plan to visit other parks with an entrance fee, learn more about the National Parks and Federal Recreational Lands Pass series and fee-free days in the national parks.

 

Fees for Activities
Most ranger-led programs on the parkway are free. Fees are required for some activities at Glen Echo Park, including carousel rides, theater shows, and dances.

 

Marinas
There are three marinas on the George Washington Memorial Parkway. Please contact individual marinas for boat rental, launch, or storage fees.
