Ranger-Led Field Trips

What We Offer

We offer a wide variety of free, curriculum-based field trips led by park rangers. These programs allign with NC & TN state learning standards and provide students with engaging learning experiences, while utilizing the park's cultural and natural resources as teaching tools to enhance classroom learning. Please note - we can have a maximum of 1 chaperone per 5 students attend a field trip.

Do We Have to Pay to Park on an Education Program?

If your school is attending an official ranger-led education program in TN or NC, your parking fee will be waived. These are programs that allign to your classroom learning standards. This applies only to education programs and does not apply to general ranger or junior ranger programs. Once you request an education program, ask your ranger for more details!
