The River Runner shuttle is back for 2024!

On Saturdays between Memorial Day and Labor Day, visitors looking to do a river trip or bike the McDade Recreational Trail can hop on the River Runner for a one way ride north. From the drop-off point, visitors can paddle or bike back to their vehicle.

The River Runner shuttle is fee-free and allows solo and group paddlers or bikers to enjoy a day out without the worry of shuttling cars between drop-off and pick-up points.

The shuttle bus is provided through a partnership between the National Park Service and the Monroe County Transportation Authority.

 

The River Runner Shuttle is a great resource for visitors looking to use the river or McDade Trail.
