Summers in the park are hot, with high temperatures of 80°F (27°C) and above, humidity, and pop-up thunder or rainstorms.
Winters are moderately cold, with average temperatures in the 30°F to 40°F (-1°C to 4°C) during the day. Snow and ice are common between December and March.
This park does not have an entry fee. Certain sites within the park have expanded amenity fees that are paid per vehicle per day. Please see the Fees & Passes Page for more information.
