There are no lodging or dining facilities in the park.

There are lodging and dining options in these nearby communities:

• Moab
  (northeast of Canyonlands, nearest to Island in the Sky)
• Monticello
  (southeast of Canyonlands, nearest to The Needles)
• Green River
  (north of Canyonlands, near The Maze)
• Hanksville
  (west of Canyonlands, near The Maze)

Canyonlands Natural History Association has some limited hiking snacks for sale in visitor center bookstores.

 

Backcountry Camping

Canyonlands has an extensive backcountry where people enjoy backpacking, four-wheel driving, boating, bicycling, and more.

Camping

Canyonlands has two campgrounds, one at The Needles and one at Island in the Sky. Individual sites at Island in the Sky are first-come, first-served. You may reserve some individual sites and all group sites at The Needles. Read more about camping at Canyonlands.
