Thank you for your interest in Women’s Rights National Historical Park education programs. Women’s Rights National Historical Park is where the Seneca Falls Convention took place in 1848, and where students can learn about women’s rights and related social movements through tours of the site and activities. The park offers group tours for all ages/grades. What to ExpectYour students will begin their field trip in the historic Wesleyan Chapel, where they will receive a group introduction to the site and its story. Prior to your trip, we ask that you divide your students into small groups (you will receive specifics when you request your field trip). Each small group will rotate between a series of ranger-led activities in the Wesleyan Chapel and/or Visitor Center complex. The entire program is 90 minutes long, and groups are welcome to stay and explore the site after the activities are complete. Each grade-level program corresponds with the NYS Standards for Social Studies. CostFree! No matter the program – onsite or offsite, virtual or self-guided, programs are always free. Reservations for School VisitsClasses and groups of 10 or more can arrange a group visit. We can accommodate groups of 80 students at a time.
