Visitor Center Hours and Parking

The visitor center has minimal parking for large RVs and trailers. Overflow large vehicle parking is available in the Administrative Building parking lot.

Entrance Fee

$25.00 per vehicle valid for seven consecutive days and payable at the entrance booth on Dunes Drive. Pass and additional infomation can be found on our fee page.

Sleds

You may bring your own sleds, or you may purchase them from the onsite concessionaire, White Sands Trading Company. Questions about sleds can be answered at 575-479-1629.

Backcountry Camping

Backcountry camping is currently not available, and there is no date set for camping to resume. There are no other campgrounds at White Sands National Park.
