Join a park ranger to learn more about the campaign, siege, and occupation of Vicksburg, Mississippi during the American Civil War. All programs are free of charge. Children are encouraged to participate in the Junior Ranger Program.

Ranger programs are outside where it is generally hot and humid during the summer months. Please plan ahead by bringing plenty of water, wear a hats, and apply sunscreen.

Throughout the year living history events are scheduled to help bring the Civil War to life including weapon demonstrations, soldier talks, and opportunities to explore civilian life.
