The King of Battle: Artillery Drill and Firing Demonstrations

Experience the power and awe of Civil War artillery. Come listen and learn from our trained historic weapons crew as they discuss the training Civil War artillerists went through during the Civil War. Feel the blast of our 12-pound Napoleon cannon!

Bugling on the Battlefield

Fix bayonet! Rally on the battalion! To the color! Come hear a bugle ring again across the battlefield. Experience Civil War-era bugle calls and learn the importance of communication on the battlefield.

Fridays: March 27, April 3, 10, 24, May 1, 8, 15, 2026
Location: Tour Stop # 1 - Battery De Golyer
Bugle calls from 2-3 PM (ongoing for the hour, drop in anytime during the program)
