Multiple monument located on Union Avenue 300' south of Park Tour Stop #5. Also a marker designating the assault of 19 May 1863, located 300 yards north of Graveyard Road in the woods, 130 yards north of 114th Illinois monument on the ridge nearest to Confederate Avenue, and a marker designating the assault of 22 May 1863, on Confederate Avenue behind the Missouri Memorial. This unit was attached to Col. Giles A. Smith's 1st Brigade of Maj. Gen. Francis P. Blair's 2d Division, Maj. Genl's William T. Sherman's and Frederick Steel's XV Army Corps, and commanded by Lt. Col. David C. Coleman (wounded at Arkansas Post and again on 22 May 1863) and Maj. Dennis T. Kirby.
