Monument located at Sherman Circle. This unit was attached to Col. William W. Sanford's 4th Brigade of Brig. Gen. William Sooy Smith's 1st Division, Maj. Gen. Cadwallader C. Washburn's XVI Army Corps (Detachment) and was commanded by Col. John M. Corse.
