Listed on the South Carolina State Memorial. This unit was attached to Brig. Gen. States Rights Gist's Brigade, of Maj. Gen. William H.T. Walker's Division, Gen. Joseph E. Johnston's Army of Relief, Department of the West, and commanded by Col. C.H. Stevens and Lt. Col. Ellison D. Capers (wounded 14 May 1863).
